April Mills McHugh | Co-Founder
April is a Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years experience in hospice care where she served as the COO of Embrace Hospice. April has three beautiful children, Maggie, Layla, and Brady. Layla was diagnosed with Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome when she was three. Layla is now thirteen years old and simply the light of her family's world and one of the many inspirations for Camp. April and her husband, Kevin forward to serving the community with Camp Rockstar.
Adrian Robertson | Co-Founder
Adrian is from Whiteville, NC but has lived in Conway for the past 25 years. She attended Coastal Carolina and studied Special Education and during this time she met her husband, Stephen. Together they have three beautiful daughters, Caroline, Kayleigh, and Carleigh. In her spare time, she loves advocating for people who can’t advocate for themselves, hanging on the river, watching her kids do activities they love, and spending time with friends and family.
Jessica Partin | Camp Director & Co-Founder
Jessica is a Conway native who attended Coastal Carolina University where she received a Bachelors in Special Education (multi-categorical) and her Masters in Special Education with a concentration in Severe Disabilities. She is a 7th year teacher at Homewood Elementary School where she teaches in a moderate/severe special education classroom. She is the camp director and educational lead who will handle the day-to-day responsibilities.
Ashley Proctor | Director of Giving
Ashley is a Conway native. She is a graduate of CCU with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Ashley has been married to her husband, John, for 14 years. They have two children - Kinley Knox, age 10, and Jones, age 5. Ashley gained invaluable fundraising experience while employed with Waccamaw Youth Center during and after college as the Finance and Fundraising Coordinator. She is currently employed as the Manager of Bucksport Water System.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and traveling.
